At the forefront of our practice is Dr. Jason Thompson, a skilled dentist who has dedicated his career and practice to offering exemplary patient care, beautiful aesthetic results, and comprehensive dental treatments. Dr. Thompson completed his DDS at the University of Iowa, and took a year of additional training in Denmark to gain more knowledge and experience in periodontics, orthodontics, implantology, and prosthetics. In 2003, he started Thompson Dental, which has transformed into a state-of-the-art facility that offers the cutting-edge technology, strict sterilization techniques, and a range of treatments and services to help patients achieve beautiful, healthy smiles.

  Dental Implants

  Dental implants are titanium posts that are used to replace the roots of missing teeth. They are topped with an abutment, or anchor, to secure dentures, bridges, or crowns directly to your jawbone and help them function just as effectively as your surrounding teeth. To receive dental implants, patients should: - Be in good overall health - Have single or several missing teeth - Have sufficient jawbone, or undergo a bone graft or sinus lift During your consultation, Dr. Thompson will help you determine whether you are healthy enough to undergo oral surgery. He will also explain the benefits of dental implants and help you decide whether they are a good choice for you.

  Dentures

  During your initial consultation, Dr. Thompson will review your restorative options with you to help you decide if dentures are right for you. If you decide that you want implant-supported dentures, we can refer you to an oral surgeon and coordinate your surgery.

  Dental Bridge

  A dental bridge is a solution for treating multiple missing teeth at once. It is made up of artificial teeth held in place by adjacent dental crowns. These crowns anchor the prosthetic teeth in place, filling in large gaps. For additional support and stability, you can also choose an implant-retained dental bridge for treatment. To provide you with an implant-supported bridge, Dr. Thompson will coordinate your surgery with a trusted oral surgeon and oversee your treatment from start to finish. A traditional dental bridge is held in place by two dental crowns that are placed on top of adjacent teeth that have been altered to accommodate the restoration. Implant-supported bridges also offer added stability and stimulation for the jawbone.

  Full Mouth Reconstruction

  A full mouth reconstruction provides comprehensive results rather than restoring just one aspect of your smile. To help you feel confident about accepting your treatment plan, Dr. Thompson can provide diagnostic wax-ups that give you a preview of your expected results. Once you are satisfied with your potential outcomes, we can begin your full mouth reconstruction. In some cases, oral surgery may be required to complete your proposed treatment plan. Dr. Thompson will coordinate your treatment with an oral surgeon and work closely with him or her to adhere to your treatment plan. The length of your full mouth reconstruction treatment will depend on the complexity of your case and the procedures that you undergo. At the end of treatment, you can expect a smile that feels and looks great.
